Small Victories fundraising luncheon a resounding success in 2011

The 2011 Small Victories  lunch, held October 13 at the Pan Pacific Hotel, was a successful event, raising $100,000 in gifts and pledges. About 150 guests celebrated the 50th anniversary of the St. James Community Service Society at the luncheon. Hosted by Global TV anchor Chris Gailus (pictured below with SJ Board President Marleen Morris), guests watched two new videos: one about the new mural, and one celebrating our anniverary. They also heard a number of speeches in appreciation of our work, inlcuding from local musician and advocate, Delannah Gail Bowen, and from the well-known housing advocate, Judy Graves.
