My hands-on experience of working as a nurse in the Downtown Eastside has made me passionate about assisting the most marginalized in the community and about finding sustainable, long-term solutions. Volunteering on such a diverse Board allows me to give back to the community in a meaningful and personal manner, while learning from the different perspectives of others.
