In March 2007, Mr. David N. Ker provided the initiating capital for the St. James Community Service Society Fund at the Vancouver Foundation.
The Fund is an endowment fund whereby the capital is held for the long term and invested, currently in the Foundation’s Socially Responsible Investment Portfolio. We are confident that this endowment fund will have a lasting impact within the community and extend our deepest thanks to Mr. Ker for his generous donation.
If you are interested in the long-term sustainability of our organization, you can make a contribution to the fund at any time and in any amount. There is no minimum donation and the Vancouver Foundation notifies us when gifts are made to the Fund.
Cheques should be made payable to Vancouver Foundation, referencing St. James Community Service Society on the memo line. On-line donations can also be made at www.vancouverfoundation.bc.ca – select A Specified Fund and query St. James.
